Explaining Myself to You
This is a photographic series taken within an exhibition space. The space (for the EV+A exhibition held in Limerick earlier this year) was a newly built office building that had never been occupied. When browsing the exhibition, exploring ideas of my own situatedness, I kept encountering these graffiti-like annotations, presumably with some kind of building

Going Nowhere
This piece is a recent digital experiment into articulating the sense of degradation of meaning. I chose a phrase ‘this is ultimately going nowhere’, which at one point in time had a specific, and devastating, meaning in my own life. Over time, that meaning has changed and degraded and so, no longer holds the sway
