Well, it’s one big project with other little projects to also complete.  Therefore, I figured that commercially available project-management software can be useful for tracking the stages of my PhD.  A well-known way of tracking projects visually is called the Gantt chart.  This chart tracks your project schedule, including ‘dependencies’ i.e. elements of the project
